How GenSteel Improved Warehouse Comfort and Workflow with Targeted Industrial Airflow

When Gensteel Doors USA moved into their new warehouse and manufacturing facility in Madison, GA, they faced with the familiar challenge of heat and stagnant air. The large, open space had little to no airflow, which left employees working in hot, stagnant conditions during the summer months. Gensteel needed an effective way to move air across the building and create a more comfortable (and more productive!) environment for their team.

To address this, GenSteel's operation manager turned to Patterson Fan Company. Patterson recommended two 20-foot V-Series HVLS ceiling fans. Mounted high on the beams, the fans circulate massive volumes of air quietly and efficiently, overcoming obstructions and distributing airflow throughout the facility. Installation was straightforward, and the breeze was immediate.

With the new HVLS fans in place, Gensteel’s employees now experience steady, continuous airflow across the warehouse. Hot spots and stagnant zones have been eliminated, replaced by a consistent breeze that keeps the team comfortable year-round. Beyond comfort, the improved circulation has enhanced productivity and created a work environment better suited to the demands of a growing operation.
